How to Play

Now it's official: It's LUNCH TIME!

Thromok can easily gobble up your board for your advantage. Only with a mouthful of creatures (like with 4 or 5 of them), Thromok can become an unstoppable machine of death with the right cards.

Cards like Whispersilk Cloak, Fling and Chandra's Ignition are great examples of cards that you can use in the case your opponent has too much creatures to block up your Thromok. Also, you can use cards like Overrun and Overwhelming Stampede as alternate win cons.

Deck discussion for Budget EDH: Insatiable Hunger

If you add Life and Limb + Sporemound then these will create infinite tokens and etb triggers, then if you Krosan Grip it then spawn in thromok youre good! Of course, Boots would be a godsend for the combo. Even through this combo is mana intensive, its a very decent one, for budget.

I think a Chaos oriented deck, based off of Norin The Wary, would be a fun thing to do. Using ETB triggers, ruining the gamestate. Very fun in a Multi-player game.

You want me to craft one? Norin is a bit pricey, but I think it should work out just fine.

Do you usually exclude the commander from your price pool? if not, it shouldnt really be a problem.

I was thinking of turning my one deck that is like this into a comander. This gave me a couple ideas for cards I would like to add. I thank you. :)
I call mine snackrifice. It's black green red and still in the works if fine tuning. I'll be posting it today some time. So when you can maybe check that out and give me see feedback.

Hey Northern, could you make a deck for Ghoulcaller Gisa? I got the 'Sworn to Darkness' prebuilt commander deck that has Ob Nixilis as the commander but would really like Gisa to be the commander.

I'm curious as to why you wouldn't run Servant of the Scales since the point is to eat your own creatures to gain counters.
