I had it in there originally, but realized the only thing I would use it on would be Suncrusher or Draco. all the others cost five or less anyway.

well this does look pretty fun to use that is for sure. u know to help out the mana color issue u might face u might wanna look into Joiner Adept. its an incredible card when ran with decks like this. btw this type of deck is normally just called a sunburst deck lol. anyways, if u run joiner, u can run more basic lands and the deck could be cheaper price wise lol.

It's not so much a budget deck, just something fun.The chromatic Lantern takes place of Joiner Adept. I've ran her in decks like this and she's always the first to go. Players are less likely to have artifact removal compared to creature removal, and I'd rather pay one more to get that tap for mana.
Running one of each shock land is the challenge here. There's lots of shock land bouncing around for trade in my area and it's not a problem to come across all of them. The goal here is to get one of each basic land type in play for things to work smoothly. HELL, I could run four Prismatic Omens, but where's the fun in that?
