Deck discussion for Gambler's Dream

Maybe read Manabond again. You have to discard your hand after playing all those lands. Also, you have to play those lands during discard phase, you can't play any of your other spells during that phase because they are all sorceries.

Ya you're right, thanks for the input. My first thought was that you could play all the lands in your hand so you wouldn't have to worry about the discard....but also that left the problems ---
1. What if you have Demonfire in your hand (Cause you'd have to discard it)
2. Can you survive long enough to draw Demonfire then use it to hopefully win.
3. What if when you happen to get Demonfire, do you have enough mana to do enough damage to win

Do you think Laboratory Maniac would be a better suit for the deck?

Well, as it is, the deck doesn't work at all! At least not as a first turn kill. And no, you wouldn't survive long enough to draw Demonfire. The Maniac won't work either. Since you'll always have lands left in the library unless you get very lucky and Maniac is the last card. But you already need to be lucky to have Treasure Hunt in the opening hand. So we are talking of odds of roughly 1:500. That's not a gambler's dream, that's a gambler's nightmare.

Treasure Hunt decks usually run Seismic Assault/Land's Edge as the kill card. Since you only need to discard 10 lands in order to win you can afford to run multiple Treasure Hunts.

Of course you lost, this deck still doesn't work as I explained above!

It does, if you get to turn 3, don't get Thoughtsiezed, and have Manabond, Treasure Cruise, and Demonfire in hand still on Turn 3. It is way worse than Seismic Hunt or Zombie Hunt though.

No, it doesn't. When you use Manabond to put all lands into play, you have to discard your hand including your Demonfire. End of story.

Like I said it's a worse Treasure Hunt deck, but it can work if you want a deck that's a million times harder to use than 99% other decks with actual turn 3 chances.
Correction to the play.
Turn 1: You must have Manabond and Treasure Hunt. Play Manabond. It'a may ability.
Turn 2: Play Treasure Hunt. Use Manabond.
Turn 3: You topdeck Demonfire.

Congratulations, you beat a starter deck or a goldfish.

That is not what you wrote (you assumed having all 3 in hand). Counting on topdecking Demonfire makes this SO bad that I can't believe you actually playtested this >and made a video< ... This also assumes that you don't draw the Demonfire when you use Treasure Hunt.
Sorry, but I don't count this as "working".

I told you it was a correction. That build can win, but it's a wild chance. Just play Treasure Hunt and Seismic Assault. We've been over this.
