Scrap Trawler and Pia's Revolution both can create infinite mana and infinite card draw in the right combo so why not put both in a deck?Example of how to make infinite mana and draw your deck with Scrap Trawler1. Need Krark-Clan Ironworks in play and Lotus Petal, Chromatic Star, Myr Retriever and a 3 mana artifact either in play or in hand) and two lands.2. Tap lands to Play Scrap Trawler. 3. Put into play Lotus Petal (casting cost 0) artifact then Sacrifice the Lotus Petal to Kark-Clan Iron work (make 2 colorless mana) then put into play a Chromatic Star (casting cost 1) and use the one left over mana to sacrifice the Chromatic Star (draw a card)4. The Scrap Trawler's ability will kick in and return the Lotus Petal to hand.5. Replay the Lotus Petal, and sacrifice it again to Krark-Clan Ironworks (make 2 colorless mana)6. Use the mana to help cast Myr Retriever. Then Sacrifice the Myr Retriever to Krark-Clan Ironworks. (again making 2 colorless mana due to Krark-Clan Ironworks ability) Return the Lotus Petal to hand using Myr Retriever's ability. Then use Scrap Trawler trigger to return the Chromatic Star to your hand. ( You now have +2 colorless mana)7. Repeat steps 3 through 5 (to create a net of +4 color mana) use this mana to cast a 3 casting cost artifact Sacrifice the 3 casting cost artifact to Krark-Clan Ironworks (make 2 colorless mana) use Scrap Trawler trigger to bring back Myr Retriever. 8. Play the Myr Retriever sacrifice it to Krark-Clan Ironworks (make 2 colorless mana)and use Myr Retriever ability to bring back 3 casting cost artifact to hand. Then use Scrap Trawler trigger to bring Chromatic Star back to hand. (Net gain of 2 colorlessmana)9. Repeat steps 3 - 8 to generate infinite mana and draw draw. There are many ways to kill opponent in this deck.The simplest is to make lots of mana and hard cast Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and attack for the win.The a more subtle route is to use Molten nursery and repeatedly casting artifacts with help from Scrap Trawler or Pia's Revolution.There are many other possible combo's that could be put into the deck. Scrap trawler doesn't work like that. It says lesser converted mana cost, and artifacts that cost 0 don't have lesser cmc than other artifacts that cost 0.
