Deck Description

This is a deck I brewed up and have been working on for about a month and a half. after several playtest games this is the final cut. With casual proxy Tournaments at my local game store (to test decks from Ixalan) this deck's Win/Lose is...
2-2(before completion)
4-0
3-1
5-0

Doomfall: Is an extremely overlooked and powerful card. It can cause discard or make your opponent exile a hexproof creature. Not too good against aggro but agianst midrange/control this card is absolutely amazing. It even gets rid of the HOU Gods because you exile it from hand or from the field.

Duress: A discard spell that is also a one-drop, so why not play it?

Harsh Scrutiny: Another discard spell that gets ANY creature out of your opponent's hand and for only one black!

Lay Bare the Heart: Just another discard spell. Really helps slow the game until you can get a win-con on the field.

Never//Return: Amazing removal spell the gets creatures and planeswalkers. You can also get a zombie from it. Good all around versatile removal.

Walk the Plank: For only 2 black you can destroy any non-merfolk creature. It is a really great removal for only 2 mana!

Fatal Push: One of the best removal spells for only 1 black. However, only gets cmc 2 creatures (4 with revolt). But the instant speed is really great and is spot on removal early game.

Impeccable Timing: Instant speed removal. Does 3 damage but only to attacking or blocking creatures.

Arguel's Blood Fast: Amazing card draw to refuel for only 2 mana. Flips when low on health but doesnt help much with life gain since we don't play creatures main board.

Authority of the Consuls: This an extremely underrated card. A one drop enchantment that causes opponent's creatures to enter tapped and gains us life. Amazingly good at slowing down our opponent.

Cruel Reality: Only running a one of because we don't need it that much but when we play it then the game can turn around easily. Your opponent has no choice between sacrificing something or taking 5 damage. They have to sac a planeswalker or creature if they have one or more on the field.

Torment of Scarabs: Not that great as a one of. Your opponent does get to choose between sacrificing a nonland permanent or just taking 3 damage. If multiples are on the field then they become really deadly.

How to Play

You play Discard, Removal, and Authority to slow down the game until you can get out a torment or cruel reality. From there you continue to play discard, removal, and even more enchantments to close out the game.
Sideboard: against control or any removal heavy deck you side in the creatures, chances are your opponent sided out removal. against aggro you bring in bontu's last and trespasser's curse. midrange/ tempo/ mirror are best for cast out.
