Deck Description

Pray to whatever gods you worship because when the high tide hits it's all over for land dwellers.

Complete lockdown and control! Fairly cheap deck compared to some out there as well.

How to Play

This deck is focused on Blue's biggest aspect: Control. This deck is meant to stall and lock down your opponents completely, your biggest threats and counters to this deck would be enchant removal and multiple strong flyers.

The two core cards in this deck are Stormtide Leviathan and Quest for Ula's Temple.
Each card is pretty self explanatory as to why it's been added to the deck. At the earliest you can have a Stormtide Leviathan down by turn 3 with an ideal hand and draws.

You want to get a quest down hopefully by turn 1 because as soon as you get one counter on it you can proliferate using Thrummingbirds, Fuel for the Cause and Tezzeret's Gambit as soon as you have 3 counters it's time to storm the beach! Stormtide gives you complete control Locking down all creatures without flying and making your two big threats unblockable giving you free reign on the battlefield. Guard Gomazoa is there to protect against pesky flyers and help stall until Stormtide hits the field, Impaler Shrike simply to help draw your proliferate and/or creature cards as needed.

It's a fun deck to play that I'm really proud of and everyone who plays against you will hate you forever.
