I wanted to build an Atraxa deck that wasn't super friends. This is a pretty straightforward +1/+1 Counters deck that draws tons of cards, makes tons of mana and spends tons of mana on Splashy "X" Spells and creatures.
playing the deck is pretty straightforward, get out Atraxa as soon as possible and get her some sort of artifact protection (boots, whispersilk cloak) so you can start getting +1/+1 counters on creatures.Gyre sage will get huge to give you mana for your X spells, Abzan falconer gives evasion to your creatures, vorel of the hull clade makes gyre sage and your storage artifacts huge. Champion of lambholt gives great evasion. Spike Feeder + Archangel of Thune make an infinite +1/+1 counter combo that also nets you infinite life. Reyhan + Altar of dementia can mill an opponent out if you are facing a boardwipe you can't counter or evade. Chasm Skulker and Hangarback Walker are threats that will draw out your opponents exile spells but if you have altar of dementia you can make them go off when you choose. Ixidron is a great way to get around a complicated prison board and since the +1/+1 counters stay on your creatures when they flip over you will have the advantage.
