Deck Description

Combo with Animation Module, Bloodbond Vampire and Anointed Priest. I do love me some tokens and counters, and now I can have both!

How to Play

The deck hinges on Animation Module, combined with Anointed Priest and Bloodbond Vampire. The combo triggers whenever a +1/+1 counter is placed anywhere, and allows you to gain life and, place another counter and create a servo token for one mana each time, repeat until you run out of mana.

Added extras are:
-Cliffhaven Vampire, to turn the combo into damage to your opponent
-Rishkar, Peema Renegade to turn all those tokens into more mana (by way of Collective Effort or Durable Handiwork)
(EDIT: Just noticed Cryptolith Rite, I put that in and toned down the other two)
(EDIT: Just noticed Winding Constrictor. With Crypt.Rite, Rishkar is actually unnecessary, and WC is too good not to put in a counter deck)
- Ajani, Valiant Protector and Cultivator of Blades to steamroll your opponent, if necessary
-Hunt the weak for spot removal

Deck discussion for Animation Module

Metallic Mimic set to "Servo" is a fun trick for Animation Module decks. There's also Hidden Stockpile to consider.

You're right, Metallic Mimic does the same as Durable Handicraft, but for free :) I wish I could put in Hidden Stockpile, but I wouldn't know what to take out. As useful as it is, I don't think I have room for it.

Two of the weakest cards I see (although they fit your strategy) are Hunt the Weak and Implement of Ferocity. The other I would question, though not a bad card by any means, is Traverse the Ulvenwald. Do you achieve Delirium that often? Do you hold them in your hand until you do, so you can grab a creature? If you mostly end up using them to fetch a land, that slot would also be flexible (to me), since Cryptolith Rite should be giving you all the mana accel you need. That being said, I still like Rishkar in these decks. Even though you probably won't need the extra mana, he facilitates +1/+1 counter triggers, and turn 1 Module, turn 2 Mimic (on Servo), turn 3 Rishkar is a REALLY strong series of early plays for this deck. Acting as a pseudo-combo, they provide a token for each 1 mana you spend. I would consider adding 2 copies back in. I would also consider leaving Ajani as a singleton (maybe even cut altogether), if you need to free up an extra slot.

SO, all that would leave us with:
-1 Hunt the Weak
-1 Ajani
-1 Implement of Ferocity
-2 Traverse (tenative, depending on how you use it)
+2 Rishkar
+3 Hidden Stockpile

Don't forget that Stockpile's scry ability will help you repeatedly filter your deck, too. Traverse seems even less necessary if you go this route. Again, these are just some suggestions. Feel free to take it whatever direction you choose. This is definitely a fun deck to play, as there are a boatload of interactions.

Cheers for the well-thought out advice! I still haven't been able to try this deck out, but I will definitely consider your suggestions (plus I already proxied the whole thing, I can't be bothered to change it now :p)
