This deck has been build around the "Gray merchant of Asphodel" (GMOA). Most black cards costs 2 black manas by purpose, to be sure to always have a good amount of devotion to black. There is also some lifelink creatures and destroy instants to help the player to survive until he gets enough mana to play the GMOA.
- When possible, avoid sacrificing creature in combat to always keep a good amount of devotion for the "Gray merchant of Ashopel" (GMOA) and the "Abhorrent Overlord". It also helps getting the "Marshmist Titan" for a very low cost.- When GMOA is on the field, use "Ghosltly Flicker" or "Clone" to activate his ability again. Do the same strategy with the "Abhorrent Overlord" to get a crazy amount of 1/1 flying token on field. If GMOA or "Adbhorrent Overlord" dies, activate it ability for a last time with "Whip of Erebos".
