The fun of this design is that not only are there some old favorites in here, being a Vintage/Legacy deck (all hail the true dual lands), but it's designed kind of backwards in terms of color. Black is the defensive color in this deck while the white is the offense.
It took a few sample draws to get the balance right. But now it's pretty consistent. Occasionally it starts slow with 20 land. But that is not common. Ostracize, Thraben Valiant, and Sorceress in your opening hand is optimal. Jihad is a beast of a card that I'd love to see resurrected in a modern version. No Mercy is also powerful.
