Hunger of the Howlpack is a nice instant for a quick, yet permanent boost. Works nicely with Simic Initiate killing itself via the Graft ability.

Speaking of Graft, Aquastrand Spider makes for a good sideboard against flying heavy decks.

Forced Adaptation gives a steady supply of +1/+1 counters. Putting this on Vigean Hydropon can give a constant supply of Graft. It also makes Bioshift that much more potent.

Something that I've been running in all my Pauper builds lately is Quicksand at 2-3 copies, depending on the deck. The -2 to toughness kills a lot of creatures in the format, and brings a lot of others into killing range.

A set of Evolving Wilds or Terramorphic Expanse wouldn't hurt either.

Hunger of the Howlpack could be really good but what would I remove to make room for it and what would be the best way to trigger it not to keen on the Simic Initiate.

Forced Adaptation has been good but most of the time the creature with it just gets killed with it, so not sure about using it anymore.

Quicksand could be good might try it and Evolving Wilds might be good running Simic Growth Chamber instead currently but perhaps they would be better?

How attached are you to the counterspells? Them and Steady Progress are the only slots I can see that could afford to lose a few numbers, but that could be because I'm not that big on blue.

A Prey Upon is one way to trigger Hunger of the Howlpack. Morbid triggers for any creature dying, not just your own. The last counter coming off Vigean Hydropon or Scrounging Bandar will allow the Morbid to trigger too.

A mix of Evolving and Growth Chamber could help too. Are there any Revolt cards that would fit here?
*Does a Gatherer search*
Nope, none that are worth it. How about other Morbid cards?
*Refines Gatherer search*
Meh, none of them are really worth it either.

I like the counter spells as a form of protection, prevention and interaction though I'm not to attracted to them.

I really like the idea of Hunger of the Howlpack I'm an issue of growing my creatures some times with my Thrummingbird constantlly getting killed.

not sure what cards can add to make that smoother though.

Steady Progress is the only way to draw cards currently and it gives +1/+1 counters but I can see why it is the first thing to replace.

In the end, the choice is yours. I can only give my personal opinion

Clutch of Currents maybe a nice addition. You could bounce back Scrounging Bandar or Vigean Hydropon to reuse there affects to place more counters on your creatures. Also if needed you could use it on the other players creatures and use it's awaken 3 to turn one of your lands into a 3/3 creature with counters. Also Earthen Arms maybe a good choice only downside is the awaken cost of seven but, could run it late game.

Clutch of Currents might be a bit slow seeing if I was picking up my Vigean Hydropon it would be four mana to re-use it. it does have the benefit or bouncing other players creatures at least. Earthen Arms could be good i find that I'm lacking a reliable way to get my guys big currently.
