First, copies don't count as casting, so you won't get the doubling effects with any of your creatures. Second, you might want to look into Eye of the Storm for hilarious results, or for more damage, Guttersnipe, or Sphinx Bone Wand would be handy.
Curiosity and Thermo-Alchemist... sweet combo. I agree with Axiluvia, Curiosity on a Guttersnipe is pretty sweet. Also, Searing Blood and the Reverberate, awesome.
it has to be an instant or sorcery for guttersnipe to kick, but with the archer, it's any non creature spell. so even the enchant aura's kick.
Ah yes, I stand corrected... I haven't paid attention to the new sets since Kaladesh. Firebrand archer is definitely getting added to my collection.
I did wise up and put guttersnipe in instead of gelectrode. way better. this deck plays really good though and the more people you play against, the better it does!
Oh yeah, BTW, I've found that 1 of Reiterate (in conjunction with Reverberate) is also a pretty sweet deal. The buyback is pretty nice late game. +1 on the deck as it currently stands! :D Also, what does your sideboard look like for this deck?
No side board as of yet. I havent losta game with this deck where it wasnt 3 v 1
Also, I think Forked Bolt might be a better option than Magma Jet, that is, unless you really love the Scry, which i totally get, but the split removal of Forked Bolt is pretty sweet, and the CMC is cheaper. I used to run Magma Jet in a deck I created around Flamespeaker Adept (who is in the art of Magma Jet BTW), but that was only because the Scry did something extra for me. I totally get how Scry can be a game changer in Izzet colors, but it's just something to think about. I'm probably gonna make this deck soon myself, mainly cause I have almost all of the pieces already. Cheers!
I agree with Phibbonacci's prognosis of forked bolt for magma jet; I've found that forked bolt is almost always better in testing (although I haven't tested this deck). On another note, I get the idea of having reverberate in here, but is the extra instant/sorcery spell trigger really worth taking a burn spell out for? I would personally have a 4x of rift bolt in there for reverberate, but maybe someone can convince me otherwise. I love the deck concept and the creativity, +1
Rift bolt is cool. I think im going to try taking out pyromancers ascention and put pyromancers goggles in.
