Slag fiend is perfect in this deck after he burned/killed a few of your creatures, so maybe main board or sideboard against burn (:

you should put in the artifact lands, it'll make the metalcraft almost instant
artifact lands cost quite some money, and also, some will make it banned in modern...
there is currently only one artifact land not banned in modern i believe. Darksteel citidel maybe. And its about 1.00 to 1.20. I would consider throwing a few in there. and maybe some buried ruin to get your artifacts back. Just a thought. My budy plays an aggro artifact deck that is pretty unreal and those cards help him out a lot in a pinch.

I think this would fare poorly in modern since the sideboard doesn't really address other decks (which is the point of a sideboard really). I think you should alter it like this:- Torpor Orbs are a cheap way to stop entry effects (shuts down cascade).- Nihil Spellbombs/Tormod's Crypt/relic of progenitus shuts down most graveyard shenanigans.- Think about Auriok Salvagers.- Consider War report as a sideboard against burn or fast aggro.- Apostle's blessing is a cheap prot spell for your artifacts.- Instead of Slag Fiend, consider Mine Excavation as an alternative in case tempered steel is destroyed somehow since without it, the deck falls flat. Plus since you are running white creatures in there, that gives it added impactBest part: All of these are pretty inexpensive and either commons/uncommons or just cheap rares.Hope that helps :)
The sideboard isn't actually a sideboard, I use it as a place where I remind me and put in cards that I am still testing. Thanks though!

Hi Eridian, This deck was created on August 27, before I got your comment on my other deck.I just recently published this deck, without changing the name -- I didn't bother to, and never thought about the pricing differences. Honestly? Run 2-4 Leonin Abunas. It gives all your artifacts hexproof. It's 4 mana for a 2/5 and it's only like 1.50 median price.

Very nice deck! I would suggest Glint Hawks over the Court Homunculi. I don't know much about modern, so I don't know if GH is allowed, but they would be 1-drop 2/2 with flying if you have your zero-drop artifact creatures XD
