Deck Description

I hate the smell of lavender, it reminds me of death.

This is my other variation of PAL using Plunge into Darkness over Living End, but instead of using Monastery Mentor, it uses Bloodghast.

Deck discussion for Lavender

Can you play Entwine for a card cast off the Scepter?

Yup, just like you can kick Orim's off of a scepter.

Hahaha not as many as you might think. It's just that a lot of my recent projects have included that lovely duo.

I just keep seeing them pop up is all. :)

and of course the ever popular surgical extraction.

what exactly is the win con here? I know I am missing something critical.

is it sac and extraction?

My guess is mill through Extraction

Yeah the win con *IS* extraction. The opponent will eventually be left with "Swiss Cheese Deck" and will lose simply on the principle that their deck can't do anything at all. Most people concede/scoop, but for the few stubborn players, they're either milled out or slowly whittled down to 0 life. That said sometimes a well played Ordeal with Probe can end a game very quickly.

wow, that is pretty gnarly... I really like the concept of extraction, but have never really found my own spin on it.

also I am curious, how well does life in the loam work in this build?

It works very well. There's only one in the deck, but you really only need the one. You can find it with Entomb and once you have the one it works as a pretty nice engine. That said I might actually drop the Crucible of Worlds and go to two copies.
