Deck Description

The whole point of this deck involves creatures that have power and toughness equal to swamps and permanent's the player controls. The main point of this involves getting out as many lands as possible and fast to make the creatures in play much more powerful. I thought this would be a cool deck as if used correctly creatures could be quickly made powerful!

How to Play

All I will say is that if you can get as many lands out and play as many cards that enable you to find land cards then all the other creatures will be much more powerfull! All creatures including the higher mana ones will be cast and placed onto the battlefield quite quickly. Heartless summoning is a good card to help with this but try not to play too many of them at first. Remember that solemn simulacrum is only a 2/2 creature and will die if you put 2 or 3 of those down. But it might not be too bad if you wanted it to die because it does have an ability that triggers when it dies.

Deck discussion for Swamps = Powerful Creatures

A few cards that may interest you:

Lashwrithe - makes your big creatures even bigger :p
Wayfarer's Bauble - best colourless land search card as it puts the land onto the battlefield, not into your hand.
Tendrils of Corruption - a kill spell that gains you life.
Corrupt - slightly more expensive than Tendrils of Corruption, but can target players, so it can be a game finisher.
Ghoulcaller's Chant - returns 1 creature or 2 zombie creatures from the graveyard to your hand. Korlash is a zombie. (more Grandeur)
Revive the Fallen - returns 1 creature from the graveyard to your hand and has a chance to return itself to your hand. (more Grandeur)
Mutilate - board wipe. Any creature you equip with Lashwrithe will survive.

I did actaully have corrupt in there but I thought that was a bit expensive. But that lashwrithe card is really good! I honestly haven't been playing long enough to know all the good cards in the game. So I literally have to just search through all the sets. Some of these will definitely be added!

I've been playing since around 2003 and there's a lot of cards I still don't know. When designing decks, I often use this website:

http://gatherer.wizards.com/

It is Wizards database of every MtG card ever made.
