Nice deck you have here. Is it a transfer from the pioneer deck into modern? Cause I was trying to find that. The pioneer deck is nice but I KNEW there had to be a way to improve it with modern.

I see this is a 3-card combo. Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank + 3rd card (Dimir Infiltrator or Cathartic Adept). You could also use Bump in the Night since it's only 1 mana.
Personally, when it comes to combo decks, I prefer fewer pieces. Most mill decks mill you out slowly but I see your deck wll drain all their life before they actually mill themselves out. If you want to take a look at another instant mill, you can check this out:

Although, it relies on white, so it sorta messes up your colors.
Anyhow, good work!

How about replacing 1 or 2 Swamps with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth?

I like what you've done here. I agree with the above comments and changes you've made. I might consider adding 2 more fetchlands (1 for black, like verdant catacombs and 1 for red, like wooded foothills) based on your red/black devotion. Also, at least 1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, so your Mountains can tap for black. Have you thought about making some room for Inquisition of Kozilek or Gatekeeper of Malakir? Good work! +1 from me!

Pretty interesting. Any room for fetch lands? I know they're expensive, but they can trigger Bloodghast twice.

Love graveyard decks since it acts like an extra resource. I would suggest putting Ground Seal in the sideboard since people don't normally mainboard graveyard hate. I don't know if you want to spend money on this deck, but the mana base could use some fetchlands and shocklands, also at least 1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth.
Some other cards to consider would be Raven's Crime, Gravecrawler, and Liliana of the Veil.

Love zombies! Love 'em! Any room for Relentless Dead or Diregraf Colossus? How about 1 Gray Merchant of Asphodel?

Good point. Anytime I see infinite mana decks, I immediately think of the old Channel Fireball combo. Fireball, Crater's Claws, and Burn from Within are all Modern legal, but Crater's Claws happens to have Ferocious (probably not needed, but hey, any little bit helps).

Yes. It itself taps for black. So do your Plains...even your Vault of the Archangel taps for black now too. =)

Pretty interesting. But since you have access to red, how about throwing in Fireball?

Nice work here. I'd suggest replacing some basic lands with fetchlands. I know they're expensive, but at least a playset of Marsh Flats. And if you can afford it, maybe 2 more "pseudo" fetchlands (whichever are, money-wise, cheapest for getting you your Godless Shrines). Also a minimum of 1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth.

+1! Good job on this deck. I like it! Since this is obviously a control/tempo deck, what do you think about Tangle Wire?

Have you thought about adding Snapcaster Mage? Gives you a chump blocker to let you live longer and also gives you a free spell (mill or spot removal if you need).

Definitely a +1 from me. I see different cards than the typical Orzhov Tokens deck. How about adding an Elspeth, Sun's Champion? I know she's 6-mana but her +1 is the same as Tirel's -2...and she has a pseudo boardwipe. Still, nice work!

I see. Well, you might consider Piracy Charm then.

Why Oran-Rief, the Vastwood? A million 1/1 squirrels is the same as a million 2/2 squirrels. I'd suggest putting in Khalni Garden so you can at least get a chump-blocker. I'd also replace the Demonic Tutor and Diabolic Intent for Vampiric Tutor and Worldly Tutor since those cost less and are instant speed instead of sorcery speed (do it at the end of their turn). Finally, I'd replace Garruk Wildspeaker for Wall of Blossoms since you can draw a card from it, and it is a good blocker to give you time to get your combo.

I see you don't have too much creature removal. How about Polukranos, World Eater? A fatty + creature removal.

Hey Zak! It's been a while. Pretty nice deck you have here. Any room for Stony Silence and/or Disenchant in the sideboard?
