Deck Description

Deal 10 poison counters to them to win as fast as possible. The longer you wait, chances are you will lose. Infect them ASAP!

Too expensive? Replace the nonbasic lands for forests and save $50+
Too cheap? I have a modern-legal deck here --> http://www.mtgvault.com/tleung84633/decks/poison-them-again-modern/

How to Play

Ideally, you want the Elf out on turn 1. Turn 2? Lots of stuff to pump up the elf. Groundswell and Might of Old Krosa give it +4/+4. Then there are "FREE" spells like Mutagenic Growth and Invigorate. Plus Pendelhaven can give it an extra boost.

Rancor is there in case they have blockers. Apostle's Blessing is there for protection and can also make your infect creatures unblockable. Inkmoth Nexus is also included for a flying infect creature (semi-unblockable heheh).

I sideboarded Wild Defiance for late game antics. But trust me, you do NOT want to play past turn 4 or 5 cause you will be top-decking.

Do you mean from burn? When I said removal, I was thinking doom blades and stuff. But yeah, you are right. with wild defiance, the creatures will be safe from bolts and shock. Thanks!

Swap out Invigorate for Giant Growth. It then makes your deck Modern legal

Sound advice. I just love Invigorate since it's a free spell hehehe. Sideboarding giant growth....thanks!

Nice deck (already liked/commented on it). Dual colors for agro decks make me nervous, but yeah. Solid!

I am one of the worst people to ask about Commander, but I'll try

I think commander with merfolk is great. Turn one of their lands into an island and now all your merfolk with islandwalk will be unblockable hehehe.
