Another typical Animar combo deck. I do not have all the big expensive cards like Imperial Recruiter or Gaea's cradle yet so I run a much less expensive version of Animar. If you are looking to be reasonably competitive without the pocket book of Bill Gates look no further! lol
Basically you need to have the right kind of starting hand as this deck is made to be fast and build before the opponent can respond effectively. Make sure you have minimum two lands in hand. I usually aim for three unless I have two good dual lands and am feeling lucky. :p After that you can bounce little creatures around to beef up Animar for commander damage or hold off and tutor for that perfect setup and combo out. One of my favorite multiplayer combo's in the deck is to bounce a Shrieking Drake for free with Earthcraft while Tidespout Tyrant makes the board pick up their field. I have won late game many times with that fun little combo. This won't be winning your store's edh night but it has stood it's ground in most of my casual environments.
