Deck Description

So this was almost a legacy deck with a much different function, but I decided to reign it back in a bit and make it legal for modern. This deck basically throws any limitations with land out the window and makes your opponent pay dearly for your wanton disregard for rules. Sacrifice, play it again, sacrifice, play it again all of it kicking off your landfall. Gain tons of life, throw out legions of beasts, or just straight up kill them by playing lands, the world is your oyster!

No Harrow!? Fetchlands? 80 cards?
Groundskeeper might be useful.

This advice is just advice, you don't have to follow it if you don't want to and I can respect that. Allot of what I'm suggesting is quite expensive so this will probably be a deck that will take at least a few months to get the parts for, probably more like a year? Don't feel like you need to rush into buying any of this.

Ok so diluting you deck with all that land means you mulliganing really hard to find any kind of threat, and with crucible id say you just don't need that much land. Test it with the standard 24-6 land package and slowing up the number as you playtest to find a sweet spot, but for the love of John Finkle don't start that high.

Id also replace the retreat to kazandu with languish, and oracle of muldya with azuza lost but seeking purely for the fact that with languish you will be killing the oracle off. Id also replace all the woodcrashers and a skute mod with ruinous paths for something in flavor OR dismember for a awesome removal spell, also your basically a combo deck, so id run one less dark hart of the wood (as you only ever need one on board) and honestly I feel like crawling sensation is a sb card, and in their place id run gitaxan probe, so you know when its safe to play one something bomb like as bob.

LANDS!

Im sure you know what is coming here. This deck should run as many forests as possible to be able to sack to the heart, but also be able to tap for mana you need in the deck, you should get some overgrown tomb's and get some murmuring bosk. You should also be running all the fetches you can to be able to look for more forests to be able to continue to chain into, so id say play the sets of wooded foothills and windswept heath. It would be optimal to run verdant catacombs and misty rainforest's BUT those cost an arm and a leg so skip those.
