Deck Description

Hi, folks! Do you love to lose? Do you love playing a deck that has an absolutely ridiculous idea? Do you like to play a casual, multi-player Modern game? Do you like to go off with fringe cards that many players have never heard of? Then here is the deck for you! It focuses on a specific two-card combo: Adarkar Valkyrie and Esper Sojourners.

How to Play

What a strange idea! But, yes, you may use Adarkar Valkyrie's ability, targeting Esper Sojourners. If you can find a way to sacrifice Esper Sojourners, it wiil untap Adarkar Valkyrie and also immediate return to the field, meaning you can tap Adarkar Valkyrie again, sacrifice the Esper Sojourners again, which will untap the Valkyrie . . . and on and on. The most obvious ways to win would be Grinding Station or Blasting Station, artifacts that serve as both a sac outlet and an effect. Or, you could use Krark-Clan Ironworks to generate infinite mana, or make all your creatures infinitely big with Maw of the Obzedat, or, I don't know, the possibilities are endless, just all clunky.

Enjoy!

Deck discussion for Clunky Combo (Modern)

I think it's a bit off stating in your description that it's a 2 card combo then immediately explaining in your how to play that in fact it's not since you need another card being a sac outlet with an ability to actually make it do something. Just saying and I'm sorry for being "that guy".
BTW this deck is horrible. LOL
I love it.

Why not throw in Altar of the Brood as you kill in your combo? just go glassdust, trophy mage, sojourners, adarkar, altar, and control magic and still keep it under $90 or even less? Then it's jenk as hell but still somewhat decent. I know the idea is a bad casual deck, but if i'm gonna run a casual combo, why not throw in stuff like Cancel, Dissolve, Dissipate, and Skyscribing? Just all balls to the wall jenk combo, screw other cards.
