Deck discussion for Mono U Tron

I played a spin on Ponza at a WMCQ last year, and my only loss before the top 8 was Blue Tron. The one card I hated more than any other card in the Blue Tron deck is Oblivion Stone. I never drew my artifact hate in time and the Stone destroyed not only my Blood Moon, but also my mana acceleration cards (Arbor Elf and Utopia Sprawl). And the Stone can be brought back with Academy Ruins.

Another card I saw the opponent use was Dimir Signet. Not only did it help him accelerate without all the Tron pieces, it supplied {U}, which was helpful under Blood Moon, and {B}, which helped lessen the life loss of the sideboarded Dismember and Surgical Extraction. I have seen some builds use Talisman of Dominance instead of Dimir Signet.

I have no experience playing with Blue Tron and I've only faced one opponent who played it, but I hope these observations help you.

Thank you! Appreciate the feedback yeah those are def cards I looked at I put in all is dust in place of oblivion stone but had a complete brainfart forgot it could be brought back with academy ruins think I might def have to change that lol the talisman I also considered I just wasn't sure what I should put it in place of, chalice of the void was also one but a playset of those would run me almost same price as this whole deck!

I know the feeling, some cards are way overpriced. In my Ponza build, mostly due to not having time to wait for an overseas order, I had to tweak the deck to include Mizzium Mortars as I couldn't get Bonfire of the Damned. Also had to loan all 4 Blood Moon from friends as I couldn't get them at all locally. Fun part about tweaking the deck, I personally prefer Mizzium Mortars in my build over Bonfire of the Damned as I worked in 3 Goblin Dark-Dwellers, allowing me to nuke something with a Mortar in the graveyard. Point is, alterations made out of necessity can lead to better alternative variations.
