Deck discussion for Golems mark 2

I liked your etherium sculpter and your Dread Statuary in your first model of this deck. I know tricolor deck doesn't leave much room for colorless land in the manabase, but I think one or two Dread Statuarys could do you some good. Additionally, I would look at some fetch lands if I were you, they're super good. I feel that Platinum angel is only really good in this deck if you have a Xenograft, and vice versa, so I'd take out both of those cards completely. Vedalken Infuser I kind of don't like, but I see the synergy with titanforge. Thing is, if you don't have a titanforge out, vedalken infuser is basically worthless. I dunno, I'd take it out if I were you. Additionally, 4 darksteel Sentinals pushes your mana curve up a little, and in a aggressive format like modern, you need to be faster. It's okay to keep a couple in, but four of those plus platinum emprion plus platinum angel plus maul splicer plus Asceticsm is going to make it really rough for you early game and it will give your opponent ample time to setup and themselves. Silverskin Armor is probably my least favorite in the deck: making a creature an artifact gives almost no bonus to you, save rusted relic and Indomitable Archangel, and a large portion of your creatures are artifacts already or at least they create artifacts. 9/10 games it's just going to be a +1/+1 bonus. My last bit of advice is to take out contagion engine. Like Vedalken Infuser, it's pretty much only going to be used for titanforge. Yes, it can power down your opponent's team a couple times, but unlike Vedalken Infuser, Contagion Engine is extremely mana consumptive and again, it'll give your opponents all the time they need to either kill your, or set up an array of counterspells.

In terms of things to add back in, I'd look at some counterspells if I were you. Stoic Rebuttal is nice, but it can really only be used well later when you have metalcraft. Spell pierce is nice, Remand, and Swan song. And I'm not saying all of these, but just that one or two of these choices might be nice. You might look for some removal like Pongify, Raprid Hybridization, Imprizoned in the Moon, Beast Within, Path to Exile, Immolating Glare, any of those really to hold off you opponent until you're ready to crush them.

Lastly the Sideboard. It looks decent, but if I were you I'd bring Tempered Steel into the maindeck and I might switch out the Viral spicer for the Maul splicer in the maindeck. Not only is Vital splicer cheaper and faster, but it also helps your golems be resistant to removal that is ever-so present in modern. You might look at taking out golem foundry, and Inexorable tide: I see the combo with Titanforge and proliferate and golem foundry. If you want to have that, you need to have enough support in the deck for it, meaning at least 3 titanforge and 3 golem foundry maindeck, cheap proliferate cards, Vedalken infuser, and just more support for those cards. Otherwise they're often times going to be kinda bad. I would also take out Golem artisan, it's pretty mana-intensive.

Sorry I wrote so much, I just really like this build and would love to see it get even better. Everything above is just advice, you do you. Keep on keeping on!

Some sound advice there, tbh at the moment I'm just toying with the golem idea and just did a rough look at cards, I'll have a muck around and take on advice (like yours) and make a finalised version within the next few days. thanks for the comments though man. appreciated
