Deck Description

You may have noticed that this EDH deck has no commander... The reason for this is because the commander hasn't been released yet. It will be in the 2015 core set. The commander's name is Jalira, master polymorphist and can be found here. http://mythicspoiler.com/m15/cards/jaliramasterpolymorphist.html

How to Play

This is a very simple and awesome deck to play. Put out jelira as soon as possible, play tokens with the artifacts and spells, then sacrifice the tokens to play the only creatures in your deck... Fatties. Also, take additional turns for more chances to swing with the fatties, and counter everything your opponent does so that they're miserable. This is not a fun EDH deck to play against. I'm sorry if that's what you wanted. This deck plays to win.

I concur about platinum angel. Maybe could use some of the swords? There doesn't seem to be that much actual protection for the artifact creatures, just life protection. Blightsteel might go back into the deck afterwards, but it will still take that much longer to recast it. Also, if you have access to Glen Elendra archmage, she could replace one of your counterspells. She allows you to sacrifice her to counter a noncreature spell and she has persist. So two counterspells on a stick. I'm not sure just how useful it would be but soul of new phyryxia (probably spelled that wrong) seems like it is interesting. Definitely the best creature in that m15 cycle. How much field presence do you usually get with this deck? If it is a decent amount, you could try using Chief Engineer (might have the name wrong.) It is a two drop blue creature from m15 that gives artifacts you cast convoke. That's just what I can think of. Be on the lookout for a new deck. I will call it "The Gods of Ping". It will be a midrange token based red white and black deck (im thinking of using all of the multicolor gods in these colors. I already have one of each, two in the case of mogis)

Most of the creatures I have protect themselves though, blightsteel is indestructible, stormtide has shroud, etc. I think just getting them out fast is enough. I don't really need much protection in my opinion. I honestly don't like platinum Angel. It just never seems to do much in EDH or any format for me. I like the emperion a lot more.

Yeah, I know that decks run it, but all it's ever been for me is an expensive 7 drop that isn't powerful and quickly dies Rio removal or boardwipe.
