Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Control deck, complete with card advantage, vanilla Counterspells, Boomerangs, and High Tide! Oh, and some Faeries, or something!

Seriously though, I would love some constructive criticism on this deck, it's meant for a casual tournament with basically no restrictions on cards, shouldn't have to face too many combo decks though. The sideboard at this point is just a list of the cards that I want but can't afford to buy. Any upgrades, replacements, or other useful cards would be awesome to hear about!

Standstill, while cool in some decks, just doesn't really fit in this one. I would definitely buy Isochron Scepter it is crazy useful. I personally think this deck needs just a little more burn/defense. Maybe there is a high toughness fairy you can include? Or another burn spell, Magma Jet is my personal favorite for these situations. Or Gelectrode can be an easy way of burning high toughness creatures, particularly when paired with the Scepter. Anyways, just some ideas.

Just edited for more aggressiveness and synergy with High Tide. Thanks for the Gelectrode tip; don't know how I missed that one >.< The Isochron will probably get purchased in time, I'll be replacing Twincast with the Scepters. I don't think additional defense is necessary, as the Cloud of Faeries and Lightning Bolts are generally played defensively, and this deck should be able to continually bounce big creatures far longer than needed to win. Magma Jet is a nice, versatile card in most decks, but in this case I'd prefer to keep the pure card-advantage Instants instead. Plus, I'm obviously trying to avoid running Mountains in this deck =P. Anyway, thanks for the advice, let me know what you think of the new build!

p.s. I'm thinking of running 2 copies of Brow Beat, what do you guys think?
