Deck discussion for Project Silhana Alfred version

Sage of Epityr enables you to change gears against most decktypes if you have an adaptive design.

Cards that does something and then scry are usually a start at learning how to have everything fulfill several tasks. (Sage is both tempo and a chump blocker.

You got to make sure you have at least 4 cards against any archetype you might face.
(Dredge, storm, aggro, affinity)

So spreading seas to target valakut/eldrasi temple.

Faerie macabre is perhaps the best hatred against reanimated and it doesn't bother with color if you only have it for that purpose.

Clear the mind can be used to put your graveyard back, or can put the opponents in, and lets you draw a card.
I will use spreading seas though

Start with a general brainstorming trying to cover it all, then test out different mixes.

Echoing truth, deals with creature-counters, kiki-jikki swarms, and bounces stuff in general. With one legacy deck being gyruda and many clones driven by lions eye diamond you will need echoing truth to deal with them before the attack. You also need a reshuffle/anti-mill card against that, though lions eye diamond will shortly be banned as wotc wants to keep companions in the meta.

Martyr of ashes is one commoncard I've used in decks like this before.
Dead // gone kills or bounces their critter.
I can also recommend seal of fire which makes people freeze for some turns if they play goblins/elves/merfolk.

Sigiled skink is a decent aggro that gives you scry.

Also hooray, I've reached my post number 2.000 :)

That's wonderful, but I like all the instants that make my deck run.

Well your deck certainly has commons and uncommons and rares...lol
Electrostatic field looks like a good fit (uncommon)

All of these cards have a version that is common I’m just to lazy to get that version specifically

There's a common fetchland. Evolving Wilds.
It can support searing blaze.

I've taken a look at legacy lists.
A huge portion of what's there is also in modern in a milder form,
So you can actually start by "just defeating modern" if you have the testdecks.

Adnauseam, burn, death's shadow, dredge, eldrazi-tron, elfcombo, goblins, izzetstorm, jund, merfolk, zombie-treasurehunt

I'd suggest you pick a few testdecks to start with.

Death's shadow: will test your decks ability to deal with the graveyard, big fast creatures and discard.

Infect: will test your ability to block and play counter spells.

Burn: will really test your deck if you try to be aggro.

Elfcombo: will test your removal and counter spells.

Merfolk: will test your removal, counters and blockers.
