Deck discussion for BW Tokens Modern

Maybe throw in some fetchlands in your colors like arid mesa, marsh flats, or verdant catacombs? Even if they only hit one of your land types, they help thin out your deck which is really good.

Vault of the Archangel! Specially if your running the infamous Bitterblossom.
Overall is a really good deck. Wescoe would aprove it. xD

Oh, and i think you shouldn't run Isolated Chapel and Fetid Heath, add more basics and fetches ;)

I agree with kamacauser the isolated and fetid heath help keep my mana in check plus I don't have all the money in the world to go and buy like 10 fetch lands.

The cards are there, but the mana base and number of cards are all wrong. Why would you only play 3 of Lingering Souls and Spectral Procession when they're the best cards in your deck and your 2 spot in your curve is way too high? If you can play more Lingering Souls/Spectral Procession, you shouldn't be playing any Midnight Haunting.

Also, the mana base could be a lot better.

Yes his mana base could be better, but he already stated he doesn't have the money to go and buy the fetches needed to make it great, so this may be the best it can get. :)

What should the mana base be like I might not have the fetches but I can put it on the site for future purposes.

You might want to consider elspeth tirel over knight errant. tirel puts three tokens in and her ultimate wipes everything other than her lands and tokens. nice source of control over the board as well as adding a bit of life gain. also true convictions may also want to be considered double strike and lifelink.

Elspeth Tirel is great, but I think Knight errant is better, mostly because you can constantly create tokens with it while growing your loyalty. Also True conviction seems a bit too little too late, but that's just my opinion.

I'm guessing i got the first two abilities backwards for tirel. still its worth trying if nothing else for her first two abilities since she gains life and puts more tokens in than knight errant. I see your point about knight errant though.

What about Elspeth, Sun's Champion? She makes 3 1/1 tokens a turn for her +1.

Beckon Apparition maybe?

What about brimaz? I think you could remove one, maybe two "raise the alarm" to add him

I like him but I thought hero of bladehold was better

Yeah I'd put in Brimaz over something like Bloodline Keeper, the buff to your Sorin tokens isn't worth it over the efficiency that Brimaz offers, plus he doesn't die to Lightning Bolt like the Keeper does... :)

You should run at least 1 swamp to go against a blue moon deck or something.

More Creature's for example bloodline keeper. It buffs your Sorin's tokens and you have to put nighthawk in too. :D

Yes, but bloodline keeper will most likely never see the ability to buff the tokens, because he will get killed before doing anything.

Also Divine Reckoning is muy bueno with blood artist :P

And also you need to put Suture Priest in and take ariok champion away from this deck. Also more intangible virtue I would say 4x of those. Then 2x honor of the pure.

Yeah no, I'm thinking Auriok Champion is much better, the reason being it is saved from most spot removal in modern right now, especially lightning bolt. Honestly Divine Reckoning isn't very good even with Blood Artist, I'd swap it for Wrath of God, which is a much more efficient "Reset Switch." Yes you don't get to keep your Blood Artist, but at least you aren't letting them keep their Tarmagoyf. :) I do like the preference of intangible virtue over honor the pure, though I like Leyline of the Meek over honor the pure, just because it could be a free automatic buff to tokens.

more divine reckoning 1 isn't good

You're right, zero would be better since he is a token strategy. :)

Don't you get it if he has blood artist on the bfield and uses Divine reckoning and chooses blood artist and all other creatures die and blood artist activates his ability. It's a MegaWin for this dude.

Yeah, but that's not what he's trying to do with the deck. His strategy is to kill his opponents with mass token swarm, killing all of his tokens seems counter-intuitive to the strategy.

Then I have to say wrong colors. G/W elf and theres token swarm win.

There's a few things that the tokens archetype does extremely well: protect planeswalkers, stone wall non-trample fatties, and discard. (Mind you,I enjoy a more controling Token.) I'd suggest adding some number of Thoughtseize and Inquisition of Kozilek. Liliana of the Veil is also just nuts right now (consistant discard vs combo city.) Also, with fetchlands, adding some number of swamps would be good (2/3.) I would take out the Leyline of the Meek (great T1, but aweful later on and also gives away your plan to your opponent,) the blood artist (without a sac outlet, you cant just abuse him,) Rhys (imho, hes just too slow outside of commander,) Tirel (life gain really isnt that good,) and Devine Reckoning (board wipes aren't what a deck that wants to flood the board wants.) I'd replace them with 2/3 liliana's (consistant discard and a sac on command is AMAZING,) 1 more Kight-errant (1 token, then a 3/3 flyer per turn, great as a finisher (plus her ult demands an answer,) 1 more sorin (constant tokens and an anthem built in,) and ~4/5 discard (you decide on what combo of Thoughtseize and Inquisition.) Finally, MAIN BOARD THOSE PATH's! There just that good. Also consider for you're sideboard phrexian or mirran crusader (they're nuts versus their respective colored decks.) Sword of Fire and Ice is also really good versus UWR control, as is Sword of War and Peace.
