Deck Description

A re-imagining of the old Flash Hulk deck for use in Modern.

The deck is capable of winning the game on t2-3 by Looting a Protean Hulk and reanimating it with Footsteps of the Goryo, or cheating it into play with Through the Breach, initiating the game winning combo.

How to Play

-Combo-
4 Protean Hulk
2 Body Double
2 Viscera Seer
1 Reveillark
1 Mogg Fanatic

3 Footsteps of the Goryo
3 Through the Breach

-Dig/Loot-
4 Serum Visions
4 Faithless Looting
3 Ideas Unbound
2 Summoner's Pact

-Disruption-
3 Inquisition of Kozilek
3 Thoughtseize

-Ramp-
3 Pentad Prism
3 Simian Spirit Guide

-19 land-
-----------------------------

-By playing Footsteps of the Goryo on a binned Protean Hulk, or Through the Breach when Hulk is in hand, when it is sacrificed at end of turn, you can search up a Viscera Seer and a Body Double- copying Hulk.

-Sac the Body Double w/ Seer, grabbing a Mogg Fanatic, and a Reveillark

- Sac the Mogg to deal one damage. Then sac your Reveillark w/ Seer, to bring back Mogg and Body Double- copying Reveillark.

- From here you can loop Mogg and Body Double(Reveillark) for infinite damage.

Deck discussion for Modern Bubble Hulk

Nice Idea, but i would recommend death cultist over mogg fanatic, losing the life is much better than dealing damage in my opinion. Good Luck with the deck!

Mogg is better because he can kill dudes like Dark Confidant, which is actually beneficial. There aren't a whole lot of instances where losing life is better than dealing damage, but there are many times when being able to ping something for 1 is actually useful. Mogg is the more well rounded and versatile card.

this deck needs more land

19 lands is more than enough here. With all the cheap dig spells, you always find the lands you need. You will rarely need more than 3 lands out, and the ramp helps here as well.

most the other versions of this (the originals) were 18-20... so 19 fits

why not run phantasmal image and clone, can fetch them with protean hulk and make doubles

Pretty cool idea, but you don't really need to. You only need the 1 Hulk to die, once that happens you have an infinite loop, for infinite damage. So i can't really see a reason to clone Hulks.
