I jacked the concept from Northern Warlord but changed it pretty heavily. Yeah I inflated the budget a bit but by no means is this an expensive deck even so. It's a pretty straight forward idea, beat your opponent down. Punish them for trying to interact with your board.
Get your non-creature spells cast when your commander isn't out (with a very few exceptions). Cast dudes willy nilly, and beat your foes to death with them.The non-creature spells you will play should be ones that DEMAND a solution, ideally followed by putting Ruric-Thar out, making that solution harder to find. Blood Moon, Burning Earth, Possibility Storm, and Warstorm Surge are all fairly brutal for what they do and if left alone will cause problems.
