I know Gifts Ungiven is banned in EDH, that is why Insidious Dreams is in my sideboard dude, and my friends are o.k with house rules of playing cards like that and Primeval Titan, and other cards like that. I only play with them if the people I am playing with are cool with it, if not then I swap it out.
