Deck Description

I generally do not build Mill decks ever....but when I saw these 2 enchantments (Drowned Secrets and Psychic Corrosion) and I see Homarid Explorer and a 3-cost clone? I GOTSTA.

It really helps that this deck is budget as sin and can do some REAL work really fast.

How to Play

The premise is simple, get out Drowned Secrets as well as Psychic Corrosion as soon as possible. If people try to remove, sacrifice your 1 cost flyer for a counter so that doesn't happen or use Essence Scatter.

Then you basically just counter all their large plays with Essence Scatter and continually draw cards and scry using Opt and Radical Idea. After that you start dropping Homarids and milling them for a minimum of 4 (much more if there is an enchant or two on the board) then you have Mirror Image come in as more extra Homarids for more mill. If someone targets the Homarids with removal, simply use Rescue to bring them back to your hand and re-cast for more mill.

If they manage to get to the late game, Weight of Memory has a tri-fold purpose as a finisher (mills them 3, draws you 3 which can lead to them milling 6 more, and it's blue so it will set off Drowned Secrets as well).

Cast lots of blue spells, counter everything, and MILL CITY baby.
