Deck discussion for Elf Beatdown

Be careful with Elvish Champion and Coat of Arms, they are risky cards. I think they are better for a sideboard. Lots of people play mana elves. Have you considered a combo of Might of the Masses and Primal Rage? It could accomplish your goal with the Overruns a little more effectively, and you probably will find that you don't really need the Rampant Growth with all those mana elves. Otherwise it looks like a very effective deck. I like how simple it is, you don't really need any deck control, you probably get everything you need in your opening hand.

Thank you for your feedback, however I don't think I'll be making any changes to the deck until I get to play it as is. I'm not worried about the riskiness of Coat or the Champion, as I only play casually with my girlfriend and I have the advantage of knowing that these cards will benefit my decks much more than hers.

I was considering using different spells in the two slots taken up by Overrun and Rampant Growth, however I was thinking of something more along the lines of Elvish Promenade or Hunting Triad with Predatory Hunger or Giant Growth.

The reason that I'm going to keep Rampant Growth for now is because I want to get as many forests out as quickly as possible so that by turn 4 & 5 I could have enough mana to play more than one card per turn, as I ideally want to get all my cards out of my hand as fast as possible. However, I do think you might be right that I could have too much mana using both Growth and the mana elves, so I think for my first run with the deck (tomorrow) I'll exchange the Llanowar Elves for Elvish Visionaries.

Final note, sorry if my reasoning seems flawed, I'm very new to MTG and have only been playing for a month or so. If you see any fatal mistakes, please feel free to correct me.
