Deck Description

This deck has been a work-in-progress for the better part of 10 years. It started off as pure lifegain when I hardly had any inclination of building a deck (Dawn Elemental was its best card then), then evolved into a samarai deck, before finally being rebuilt into the glorious 9 lives you see here.

How to Play

This deck wins by gaining life, and being surprisingly offensive as well. Once I got ahold of Ajani, Caller of the Pride, the idea was to use his ultimate as the main win con. That being said once I throw Armored Ascension on pretty much anything (especially with lifelink) it does not often make it far enough to use ajani. Aetherflux Reservoir was added as an alt win con because why not? The last time I played it my friend had an army of drake tokens and zombie tokens out, but I drew reservoir after reaching almost 70 life. Great sudden end to the match. Felidar Soveriegn is just another way to secure victory, though not often necessary.

Deck discussion for 9 Lives

Regal Caracal will help you very much. Personally, I'd take out Jedit's Dragoons

I like that idea. Jedit's Dragoons was a "wrong card right place" deal :)
