Deck Description

Just trying to get infinite life, no big deal.

T1: Land, Pilgrim or Bird
T2: Land, Birthing Pod
T3: Land, Leonin Relic-Warder or Suture Priest
T4: Sac Bird or pilgrim, tutor up Suture Priest or Leonin Relic-Warder, cast Phyrexian Metamorph targeting the warder, then exiling itself, then targeting the warder, then exiling itself, etc.


OR use 3 Fiend Hunters, or an Oblivion Ring, a Relic-Warder and a Fiend Hunter.

End the turn with 99999999999 life, then tutor up blade splicer, or whatever.

If you can outlast any damage dealt, while watching them burn through their cards, I'd call that a win.

I actually had Warstorm Surge in here originally and took it out... the deck is clunky already. Adding another color doesn't work well with it.

As far as a win condition... Most people just concede as soon as you gain infinite life since it would be almost impossible to win... Unless they are playing combo or mill.

Think of it this way... you are playing against someone and they gain 9999999999 life. What are you going to do? Attack them every turn and do nothing? They don't even need to block! So, they can sit back, not do anything for 20 turns, and just wait until they draw exactly the cards they need and have like 15 land on the field... Casting something like double sun titan into phyrexian metamorph as a sun titan while retrieving oblivion ring/fiend hunter/mimic vat/blade splicer/3 drop... seems like it would probably win eventually... that is basically the whole point of Solar Flare. And that is still a competitively played deck.
