Deck Description

Satyr, Cackler, and the Jester nice damage early game. Tymaret is great for blocking if you have one in graveyard and the field. Cerberus is good against control when they boardwipe, we get all our creatures while they have little to none and you clean up next turn.

Deck discussion for Rakdos Aggro

young pyromancer would fit in here really well, standard legal, and with purphoros and plenty of instants/sorceries that is two damage every doomblade etc as you get an additional elemental????

Yeah I thought about that. I'd like to have at least 2 purphoros if I played pyromancers, and unfortunately I only own one copy. Not sure what I could get rid of... Maybe Agent of the Fates since I've only got 3 cards that can trigger his heroic. Ill throw some in the SB for now.

Lord of Riots is a good card, BUT can be WAY too hard to cast
I recommend Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch instead

Also, feel free to check out my deck:

I agree, I had a friend running a rakdos deck and he played him maybe once. BBRR is really situational.

Not just that, in by some little feat you get out the BBRR mana cost, your opponent then has to have lost life that turn

I agree, threw him in SB and put Exava MB for now.

Does anyone have good sideboard choices for this deck??
Going to take:
2 Thoughtseize
2 Mizzuim Mortars
2 Ultimate Price
3 Young Pyromancer
2 Skullcrack
2 Wild Guess
2 Blood Scrivener

i know that magma jet is good but i would rather have mizzium mortars. two more damage is better that scry two and the overload is realy good to clear some of his board.
your mana curve is realy low so 20 lands total would not be bad too. then you can put in cards like read the bones.
card draw is a big thing in aggro decks, my oppinion. if you have more cards you can play more. and losing those two life from read the bones is not the worst thing that can happen.

Maybe drop 2 of the guildgates. Having to play a tapped land with an aggro deck can really mess you up.

remove:
4 guildgates
3 magma jet
2 doom blade

add:
2 dreadbore
2 read the bones
3 mizzium mortars

that is what i would do.

I would drop the Rakdos, LoR in place of maybe 2 more 1 drop creatures or possibly add in Ash Zealots or even Rakdos Shred Freaks for a cheaper alternative. Apply the pressure on fast with early drop haste and then let the Cerberus remind everyone of that early game pain.

I really like the deck! If you get a chance, please check out my new R/W soldier deck! It's a really fast damage output deck.

I already said swap him for Exavas
Exava is still an absolute bombshell (and looks like one) which is harder to predict than LoR

If you had a rakdos charm, you could make cerberus one sided when he dies. OR you could wait till the ability resolves, then use the charms other effect to finish the other guy off with the each creature deals one damage to it's controller bit. Don't know if it's reason enough to make rakdos charm in the mainboard, but I don't think it's bad for the sideboard at least.

The cerberus disables cards in the graveyard from being the target of spells or abilities, so I don't think that would work. I already thought about using Crpy Incursion for that reason. It would be oh so wonderful if it worked.

Magic is pretty literal, the charm says it target's the PLAYERS (not yelling, just no italics) graveyard, so I'm pretty sure it's legit.
