Deck Description

A deck that build around Kruphix. Did an awesome job for me from the recent tournament. Went 3-0-1. At the end, we decided to make a draw so we both got an equal amount of booster packs.

How to Play

Defend a bit then use Plasm Capture to steal mana to play bigger creatures earlier. Works pretty well against mid and late decks.
Aggro decks are still the issue when I playtested several times.

Deck discussion for Kruphix's Orders

Interesting deck, I can kind of see how this works, but I think it needs more improvement. I don't really see the combos with this deck, and I don't think this will be very effective in ANY tournament. Especially considering the cost, who would buy this thing anyway? It seems that you want to spam creatures, but there is not nearly enough ramp to make this happen. You would be vulnerable until turn 6, the game most likely will be over by then, and there is nothing you can do to prevent that.

He wants to cast Plasm Capture, that's the spam-enabler, either after tapping out with Prophet on the board or otherwise. Then, if had Caryatid, break the game open t4-5 with a stupid amount of mana poured into Angel of Serenity, Prime Speaker or Progenitor. It's slowish and fragile, hence Druid's Deliverance.

Just a fyi, he got to first place in tournament with this deck. He has SB against mono red decks or any rush deck. It was surprising.

Well it's a nice use of Kruphix, and since there's so many creatures, I'm not sure how well Supreme Verdict would do. But whatever works. Maybe there's other ways to find tokens other than means of Voice of Resurgence.

I can see the aggro decks as an issue as well here... ...Supreme Verdict itselfe is not enough & it screwes up your game sometimes as well... ...tough I can see having 4 Prophet because of that disadventage coming from your own Verdict, the Lion is also reasonable as well as Resurgence...

Plasm Capture is good, but I doubt it alwayes good enough for you to cast your stuff... ...against midrange & such, it's reasonable, because it gives you more mana, but that's why I only use it as a sideboard, when I use it... ...it just sucks against aggro & other decks with low mana stuff.......

The deck is very unstabil & trust me, at most shops, it won't work... ...tough I see creativity in it...

Voice of Resurgence is not reasonable since you don't have many creatures most of the time... ...but the 2/2 early-game is still helpful & the extra token(s) are as well...

...if I were you, I'd use 3 Prophet only(very useful, but not if you draw many of her, even when 1 gets removed), drop Trostani(I know you can gain huge amounts of lives with her, but using 1 ain't worthit), drop the Lion, drop 2 Capture & all Verdict...

...put in 2 Chromatic Lantern, 2 Azorius & 1 Selesnya Keyrune... ...may be you can keep the 3 Verdict this way... ...you just need to keep at least 1 Prophet for late-game, after you have already used 1-2 Verdict, if nesesary...

I very much like the sideboards!.. ...tough I'd use only 1 Dispel & 2 Negate instead...

May be Urban Evolution would better here than Revelation... ...it lowers the curve a bit & it also helps you ramp as well as you can draw enough cards for a little cheaper, so it speeds up the deck & makes it more stabil...

The other issue is that you have 3 Zegana & 2 Progenitor, tough the only creature they are worth playing on is Serenity... ...this also makes the mechanic of the deck instabil... ...I'd use 2/3 Serenity, 2 Zegana, 1 Progenitor & 2/3 Armada Wurm... ...this way, you'll not be able to take much adventage of Deliverance's Populate ability, but it still is relavent, tough, I'd use only 1 of it & 2 Fog in the main deck, if you make these changes... ...in the sideboard, keep the 1 remeaning Fog & add 2 Riot Control, it's awesome against aggro.......

I'd take out 1 Island & replace it with 1 Plains... ...this way you'll have 12 lands that could add white mana(that's the least you need to not to have bad opening hands), 14 blue & 15 green... ...tough I'd also take out a forest for a Plains, so there would be 14-14-14... ...you don't have 1 cmc mana creatures anyway, only Caryatid, so it's ok not to have many basic forests.......

Overall, this is an interesting deck & with further development, I can see this working out well...
