Haha you all made my day lol. It's weird I didn't expect this deck to get so many views tbh. I didn't even put much time/nor effort into it.

OMG there's a new stuffy doll!! I've been outta the loop. Yeah there aren't too many good samurai just lots of mediocre samurai. The bushido ability is sweet but sadly not the best for multiplayer.

Haha yep multiple win cons! Glad you like the deck! So I'm getting bored of my lord windgrace lands matter deck and want something spicier, so I thought Golos would fit the bill quite well.

If I wanted to go all-in on Maze's end, I would have cut all the shrines and just packed the deck with tutors to ensure that I get Maze's end by turn 5. However, that would be mega boring. Plus shrines are awesome and the new set supports them really well.

I may have gone a little overboard with all the board wipes, but when you rely on lands/spells to win they are a necessary evil.

Happy deck building!

Actually I don't own many of the cards. I had to order a fair amount of them from card kingdom. It doesn't matter though considering most of the deck is cheap commons/uncommons. Most of the money is in the artifacts-which naturally are more expensive for pretty much any deck.

And thanks! Yeah I've never built a mono black commander deck before, and someone in my play group already runs Syr Konrad, so Shirei just seemed look a solid inexpensive mono black general. Curve is nice and low and an ample amount of ETG (enter the graveyard) effects.

I agree. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the tip. I knocked down mind twist to 2x and added another wrench mind. Plus you don't really want mind twist in multiples I don't think...one or two should do the job fine. I also think 1 phyrexian arena is sufficient and makes the deck more budget too.

Actually it's funny you mention it because that's the one card I'm trying to make room to add! I will probably replace it with pearl medallion or perhaps shave a land. Still trying to decide. Although I do like the medallions in mono decks especially.

Thanks for the tips! I considered hostage taker as an extra slot and may sub something out for it. I think Detection Tower is a great overall utility land and will definitely add that into the deck. It's very useful for cards like Shalai too. I think I'll give cold storage a try with the current setup. Crystal Shard looks cool but it seems like I'd have to build around it. I'll keep it in mind for later.

Very nice deck. I've wanted to build Zur for a long time, but decided to go with Zedruu pillow fort instead. I still run mostly enchantments and artifacts. Solemnity is a such a great card. If you combine it with Force Bubble (3 mana), you can prevent all damage from any source until one of them is removed. It can basically stall the game indefinitely if unanswered. It is also great with decree of silence, but eight mana is a lot lol. Only suggestion I'd make is having more ways to protect your commander. Zur is a massive target just because of his ability to shut down certain strategies completely.

Yeah I resonate with a lot of what people are saying regarding this post. In terms of adding a description/how to play guide to one's deck, I honestly don't think it makes that much of a difference in terms of comments or likes. Of all the decks I've made public on this site, some had no description while others had an essay practically and the essay decks some of them got no likes and no comments.

One observation I have noticed is that infinite combo decks or combo decks in general tend to have way more views or activity than other archetypes. I can understand everyone is looking for the best new card synergies and crazy "oops I win" kind of cards, but just because a deck doesn't go infinite or have some insane mechanic doesn't make it a bad or uninteresting deck. I also think the attention span of society in general has gone way down, so people don't have the patience to filter through dozens of posts and comment on them all. But yeah I think having a somewhat catchy title will help a lot with getting noticed. I need to work on that. A title such as "Omnath Landfall" doesn't exactly jump off the page.

Those are my main thoughts on this subject. Anyway, I don't really care anymore who or if anyone comments or likes my decks. I mainly just use this site for play-testing purposes and deck ideas.

Do ETB abilities like Iona's trigger if they come into play through living end? I know it seems to be popular to also run cryptic command with As Foretold because playing CC's for free is awesome! Cool deck though.

Would a mono-green devotion style deck do well in legacy? Like Gen Wave and hornet queen? Must be faster ways in legacy to get mana than usual mana dorks like arbor elf. Also, why all the snow-covered lands? And why all swamps if you run green? Just curious.

It's technically an aggro slivers deck that has infect as a win-con. My friend used to play it and did pretty well at fnm events and such but it definitely is not a top tier meta deck. He said whether you get a turn 1 vial or not usually determines the outcome of the game. I'd have to agree lol.

If this were my deck I would shave the tron lands all-together and just go mono green ramp. I'd use utopia sprawl to double green mana, mana dorks like arbor elf and voyaging satyr, and throw in a few Garruk Wildspeakers to generate tons of mana. Decimator of the provinces could pump all your dorks and swing for lethal and I'd consider running wurmcoil engine. Plus, there's a lot of land hate right now so having creatures that give you mana help a ton in the current meta.

No ancient stirrings or sylvan scrying? I like momentous fall a lot-it would combo amazing with wurmcoil engine or thragtusk. Not only do you draw 5-6 cards but get tokens on top of it! Feels like a great card to hold mana up for in response to a path or cast down or something. Seems like it would take awhile to ramp up to 7+ mana with just expedition map. I would either lower your curve a little or add more ramp spells to get you to your big bomb creatures faster. I use hour of promise in my valakut titanshift deck and it is awesome. I play eldrazi tron too (the colorless version) but used to play mono green. I think hour of promise might be too slow to get tron online especially against the faster decks.

I chose W because of path to exile. Although you are giving your opponent a land, knocking a big creature off the board is worth it. I prefer it to fatal push because it deals with huge threats (hollow one, gurmag angler, tasigur, wurmcoil engine)-the big stuff push can't handle. You also can run board wipes like supreme verdict which is insanely good against the creature decks. Slaughter games seems like a more expensive surgical extraction. As opposed to GR Titanshift (which I currently run), bring to light scapeshift doesn't run primeval titan. Instead, as the name suggests, it relies on bring the light to cast scapeshift for free and win. It is more like a combo-control ish. I personally think straight GR Titanshift is the best scapeshift deck, which is why that is the version I play now. It is quick, consistent, clean, and dodges hand-disruption really well. Here is the link to my current list:

https://www.mtgvault.com/cbelzer89/decks/rg-titanshift-2/

It depends I guess on your style of play. If you prefer to ramp fast and hard and combo off by turn 5 or 6-GR T-Shift is the way to go. If you like to control the board and prefer more interaction with the opponent and you are okay with more variance and less consistency, then bring to light might suit you more.

I've been playing eldrazi tron for over 5 months now after switching from mono green tron. Frankly, I couldn't be happier with the switch. E-Tron, what it lacks in over-the-top threats and explosive draws, makes up with consistency, resiliency to land hate, and tempo. I personally run 4 endbringer and 4 chalices. Definitely add expedition maps. Also, I'm not a fan of Karn Liberated in E-Tron. Sure, you'll natty tron here and there but you wont turn 3 karn nearly as much as big tron does. A turn 2 or 3 thought-knot seer in my opinion is just as powerful or even more powerful. I think 4 basilisk collar is overkill. I run only 1 in the SB and it does the job just fine. Also, 2-3 dismembers is where you'd wanna be because it can be a dead card sometimes and eats your life total pretty hard. For my top-end threats I chose to run 1 Ulamog Ceaseless Hunger and 1 Kozilek great distortion. Casting either usually closes out games. Typically, reality smashers and endbringers are all you need to lead your opponent to scoop town.

Have you thought of running 1 or 2 grave titans? With nykthos in play you can totally cast him cheap and he is an amazing late-game beater and hard to deal with. He also works super well with whip of erebos. He'll gladly come back and bring two 2/2 zombies with him. Really awesome deck though! Looks super fun. I'd find a way of running more whips. Not many people pack pre-board enchantment hate and whip gives you so much value in this kind of deck. I wouldn't run 4 but def try to run 3. You could cut phyrexian arena for it. Card advantage shouldn't be an issue with this deck. Like previous posters have mentioned, I'd try to loot ETB triggers with this deck both with panharmonicon and whip.

The beauty of search for azcanta is that you can control your topdecks. You can bin useless lands or find them in the early game and you can also bin useless removal if your opponent has no creatures. I'd prefer to go creature hate pre-board and then board out removal and bring in the negates, didainful strokes etc. postboard for the non-creature matchups.
