All creatures spells. Very simple no-nonsense gruul stompy deck. Perfect for a beginner player or anyone new to magic or the EDH format in general. Best to keep hands with at least 3 lands and one mana dork. Once Nikya is out, all your lands tap for double mana and allow you to play big enormous things! Are artifacts or enchantments bogging you down? Cast Bane of Progress. Want to lock down the board for awhile? Void Winnower or Vorinclex are your friends. Along with the usual mana dorks I've also packed creatures that draw you cards: soul of the harvest, primordial sage, keeper of fables, garruk's packleader, beast whisperer. If you know someone who is considering magic but just needs an extra push to get into it-this may be a great deck for them. No complex interactions or combos...just make your land drops, play creatures, and swing for the fences. This deck will also help train new players/beginners about combat tactics (blocking/attacking), trading up or down, basic mechanics (haste, trample, deathtouch, annihilator, etc). Because we have no land tutors or mana rocks, it's essential to keep hands with lands...at least 3. Let me know what you think in the comments.
