Those who have played legacy fairly frequently will never forget playing against the infamous painter's servant combo. I've personally played against this deck a few times and it is fast, efficient, and brutal. While a turn 2 combo is rare: sample hand might look like this (1 spirit guide, 1-2 lotus petals, 1 painter's servant, 1 grindstone, 2 ancient tomb), this deck should combo off turns 3-5 with very high consistency. For the long game, you have ensnaring bridges and blood moons to slow things down, and imperial recruiter for tutoring up painter's servant as well as goblin welder for decks that run mainboard artifact destruction. In terms of price, this deck is about on par with other legacy decks. To illustrate, it is less expensive than grixis control or delver but more expensive than eldrazi stompy or death & taxes. As for matchups, control and other un-interactive combo decks will pose a challenge. Against tendrils storm or show and tell it basically comes down to who can go off first as this deck lacks any interaction with the opponent. Against more fair decks (delver, lands, eldrazi, elves) you should be favored. Blood moon completely shuts down delver because they often only run 1 basic or non at all.
