Looks interesting, I assume the plan vs flying armies is outhealing their damage? Looks difficult though

Looks nice but not sure how well the Buget mark fits when you have "Murderous Rider" in the deck and 4 of them at that

You may be right, thanks for the quick feedback gives time for consideration.
Devious Cover-Up & Clear the Mind are both nice, but it should indeed be one or the other, aside from drafts not used to thinking 1v1 in magic where I've mostly played Star, and other games for 4-8 players. This looks like something Standard I could find entertaining.

Agreed, The Original version of the deck got more utility, at the cost of fewer creatures.
I will most likely end up playing the original where I will be using 3x Sleep and 4x Thought Collapse, and 2 Time of Ice.
It isn't as straight forwards as this deck, but you can see it here:
https://www.mtgvault.com/chain/decks/council-of-16-maybe-standard/

Now time will tell if I end up making one or the other or both.

The best thing about this format is not knowing what you're going to pull.
so cards that allow you to search are a bit unfortunate.

Pack wars/ Booster wars.
It's a game mode where each player add 3 basic lands of each color then shuffles it with a booster they've just opened without knowing the content of the booster.
This was the content of the booster in our free for all game.

looks fun, I wouldn't mind trying it out, winning by giving opponents lands sounds entertaining. (Perhaps if those lands were neutralized/dorment it would be even better)

Red also got what most new players want, a fast pace and ofen not needing much explanation.(my first deck was weak, yet put together from a limited amount of cards in a Red/black deck)
I wouldn't mind seeing more reprints of old cards, though would feel unfortunate if I had just bought em at the old price.
Playing for the fun more than to win, casual player here.
(Note Had Fire Elemental in my first deck :) )

Seeing the low price of "Shivan Dragon" these days, it's hard not to wonder how far some other cards might drop in value if reprinted.(though i suppose power creep could be part of the story)

This looks like a fair starter deck(kinda interesting how often Red show up in starter decks)

Why is this deck even on the front page?

This is forum thread material or forum Poll material, it's an incomplete deck which should be private till finished.

Like the deck idea, though life as def and lose life as offense isn't much variation.

Chaged it a bit compared to my initial deck idea but here's more or less how it is:

Perhaps add 1-2 Raking Canopy?
Or if you don't mind dropping modern Spidersilk armors

I think you should consider looking for ways of scrying, to get the most out of Leaf crowned & Decendants' Path(interesting that with 4 lefs and 3 dec a lucky round could grant you 7 creatures for free...)

Anyway looks aggrassive.
My own Treefolk deck is slower, you might have a problem with flyers but if you finish em off quick enough that can be avoided.

As for Lightningbolt, It's a nice card, sure perhaps it should probably have gained one of these 3 changes: 1) Only target players, 2) Only target Creatures or 3) Have been a Sorcery.
Point taken though

My point isn't really anything but play what you like, though personally I find it boring to exploit far undercosted stuff. (not one of the most OP in magic but it's up there)
Honestly speaking this type of card should probably have been legendary.
Eitherway as long as you find it fun and it suits the meta you play at everything should be fine.

True, though personally I'd much rather have seen the cards buff each other in another way, Indestructible on all creatures except the creature granting it for 3 mana great, have 2 and they make each other near immortal(rather have had something like 1 in play all knights gain vigilance, 2 all knights gain flanking, 3, all knights gain indestructible etc)
Something like that.
THough I am a casual player and I do question Wizards ability to make cards from time to time(Both cards to bad for thier cost and to good)

Personally I play with Timber protectors in my treefolk deck(kinda similar to Knight Exemplars) though playing 2 in a 80 cards deck and with their 5 mana they should enter later(unless ofcause shortcuts have been taken)
Then again I do exploit the bonus of Timber with Armageddon ^^'

It's nice, but 4x Knight Exemplar makes it a little boring imo.
Sure makes it solid though.

Well I should probably rename the deck due to the limited selection of whales I included a couple of other Ocean creatures. Perhaps "Reign of the Whales" might be a better name
