You know, when I set out to make a God-Eternal Bontu deck, I had no idea it would be so expensive. Sadly, the best cards for this deck are ridiculous expensive in terms of money. With that out of the way, I'd like to think after making so many sacrifice decks I'd be more of an expert on a mono-black one. Strangely, it was rather awkward trying to get all I wanted in here. 99 cards can only fit so much, and it's shocking how many options you have. In the end, I like this list. No cheesy infinite combo, no ridiculous turn shenanigans, just black magic doing what it does best. Power at a price. Enjoy!
This deck is pretty easy to understand honestly. I mean, it's so easy you can use either the living or God-Eternal Bontu as your Commander. Just play creatures and play things that get you more creature tokens, then get a sacrifice outlet and start sacrificing for big effects. Bontu herself nets you serious card draw, Bontu the Glorified (and alive) can drain, scry, and swing for a hefty chunk, Ogre Slumlord can become a giant pied piper, there's all sorts of fun things you can get for a sacrifice. Other than that, you've got a variety of kill spells, board wipes, and tutors (OH MY GOD I GAVE UP AND PUT IN DEMONIC TUTOR, WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH ME?!?) to get you in the right board state. The only really tough call is how you want to win.
