Deck Description

So, my boyfriend wanted me to make him a kick ass Olivia deck, and I was like, "You mean Edgar Markov, right?" So after clarifying that he wanted Olivia, I revisited Innistrad's finest and thought to myself, "So.....how do I do this without Sorin, Lord of Innistrad?" After much debate, I found some nifty vampires and brewed like I've never brewed before, going all in on tribal shenanigans and added in a few cards he requested. After all the work, here it is: Stensian Soiree, AKA "Commander Fangbang." Enjoy!

How to Play

So, you wanna dance with Olivia Voldaren? Well, buckle up, because you're gonna be going tribal. Vampires are one of the most favored tribes of Wizards, with ridiculous support cards throughout MTG's history. So...we're gonna abuse them and all the tribal boosters we can. Why? We're going RB Vampires, we don't get support from both WB Sorin cards and Edgar Markov. This is essentially Vampires: Hard Mode enabled. You want silly cards like Blood Baron of Vizkopa and Sorin? Edgar is easier to use, but who wants easy to win decks? Those are boring after the first few games anyway.

So, Olivia and RB vampires. Or, "Mono Black Vampires and their few red friends." You think I'm joking, look at the deck stats. We need plenty of black anyway, because we'e rocking Vampire Nocturnus. +2/+1 and flying for have black on top? Why yes, I am running Whip of Erebos and Veinfire Borderpost just to help turn on my special boy. Other than that, the standard tribal buffs. Vampire Lords and some tribal artifacts because that's what you generally do, so nothing too special. Oh, there is the whole, "I can steal your dudes with my Commander and buff them because they be fang-bangin' now m8yw8y." Did I not mention our Lords buff stuff we steal thanks to Captivating Vampire and Olivia? That's not Ulamog it's Vulamog. ORIGINAL CHARACTER, DON'T STEAL!

I know what you're thinking. "Ok nerd, what's special about this deck?" WELL SIT DOWN, BECAUSE CTHULHU IS ABOUT TO FLASH YOU AND GET SOME MADNESS GOING ON! That's right, we have self discard profit vampires. Bloodhall Priest, Falkenrath Gorger, even Furyblade Vampire (don't laugh, it works) to discard for some sweet madness Vampires. It's not too much to muddle the deck, but enough to throw people off guard. Other than that, its just typical +1/+1 counters on damage. With some removal options like Spine of Ish Sah for enchantments we normally can't hit and Wrecking Ball for lands. (*cough, cough* BLINKMOTH NEXUS *cough, cough*) I can't really explain anything else, it's a tribal deck. Seriously, what else do you want? Entrance music for your deck? Fine here:
