I love pauper and I thought it would be interesting to play with a red burn deck that doesn’t revolve around {{Lighting Bolt}}. I found {{Nettle Drone}} and [[Reckless Fireweaver]] and wanted to build a deck with them.
Play cheap Artifacts to trigger {{Nettle Drone}} and {{Reckless Fireweaver}} to ping your opponent’s then sacrifice the artifacts to {{Embraal Gear-Smasher}} to deal more damage. The artifacts recur or draw cards for value.

+1Brimstone Trebuchet could be replaced with Firebrand Archer or Burning Prophet. Archer and Prophet would profit from your non-creature artifacts entering the battlefield, where Archer can deal more damage than the Trebuchet and the Profit provides you with some sort of card manipulation/ card advantage. If you splash blue you could combo with Retraction Helix: Use Retraction Helix on Nettle Drone and return an artifact (preferably something with zero mana-costs like Ornithopter) to your hand and re-cast it, dealing 1 damage via Reckless Fireweaver or another Nettle Drone

I like [Firebrand Archer]] over [Brimstone Trebuchet] for damage. I used the trebuchet for synergy as an artifact and against flying, but getting damage through is superior.I’d make a separate deck to do the U/R Nettle Helix combo. I’d have to change too much from the original idea to make it fit in here and I want this mono red to keep it simple and streamlined. Thanks for the suggestion though!
