If i understand the rules correctly, you will lose because you cant stop the combo. meaning you need some way to deal damage on a creature entering the battlefield

Why would he lose? Can't he just chose not to deal damage? It is a may ability, right?

not bad at all, polyraptor is one of the reasons I fell in love with my first dinosaur deck.

I play A LOT with a raptors deck. This deck has many unstable points. It plays perfectly mostly when you get cards you need.

1) U need song of Freyalise only in decks that have tonns of tokens like saprolings or vampires. Sometimes merfolks. Try to play 20 or more times and see, how this card works.
2) U don't need to keep here 4 polyraptors. 2 - is more then enough. I keep in my deck only one polyraptor. You have Forerunner of the empire to get it.
3) Wayward Swordtooth? Here's almost 0 mechanics to HAVE additional land each turn.
4) Llanowar Elves almost every time worse then Drover of the Mighty in raptor decks. Just try it.
5) Every raptor decks NEEDS Ripjaw raptor. He's good blocker, good drawer. Creature 4/5 for 4 mana.
6) Goreclaw? You don't need it. Almost every creature except poly has less attack. And it is not a raptor.

So, this deck plays in current meta like: IF I get best answers every turn, have a nice starter hand - I CAN win. Sometimes with a perfect hand I can snowball myself fast to polyraptor and win. But in really rare occasions. Yeah, my opponent should not have a good hand.

I'm curious, how this version plays against monowhite cats or merfolks? Or red agro face decks? I don't think that good. Zero removals (savage stomp, reckless rage are perfect for removing creatures), close to zero draw potential. Try this ;) https://www.mtgvault.com/idulub/decks/arena-cheap-freeplay-raptors/

Why does it say "not legal for standard" if you say its standard?
