Beware, deathtouchers have learned ranged attacks. A casual deck for kitchen table magic.I first wanted to make a type of Prodigal Sorcerer deck, but with enchantments like Quicksilver Dagger, I quickly realized I actually wanted the base creatures to be something else that would benefit from ping ability. I think this worked out better too, since this way I can cast the creatures earlier and they are somewhat useful on their own too.I'm still working on the land base.The core strategy is to enchant deathtouchers with Psionic Gift/Fire Whip, but here's some notes about supporting cards:- Izzet Charm has great variety of options. I first thought about Faithless Looting, since many of of the cards are something I really need 1-2 in a game, but am likely ro end up with more later in the game. So "cycling" the excess sounded like a good idea. Izzet Charm has Faithless Looting as one of the options.- Triton Tactics is great for 1cmc untap 2. If you have Kiora's Follower and a deathtoucher with an aura, that's 4 creatures killed. The extra toughness can sometimes save a deathtoucher in combat or from removal.- Acidic Slime is the enchantment/artifact removal, plus it doubles as a deathtoucher to be enchanted with Psionic Gift/Fire Whip.- Kiora's Follower works as both a mana dork and untapper for deathtouchers.
