Deck Description

Idea I had at work today: Fuse my Stronghold Discipline deck with the idea for Turbo Fog. This is the first attempt at it.

Other than 2 of the Howling Mines, which are on loan from a friend, this deck is make entirely from cards I own.

Sideboard is still a WIP

Edit:
-1 Ethereal Haze
-1 Fog
+2 Stronghold Discipline

How to Play

Pretty much the same way you'd play a Turbo Fog deck, except you also punish the opponent for attacking (Batwing Brume and Hissing Miasma).

Instead of using Reliquary Tower for "no maximum hand size", I opted to use Wheel of Sun and Moon and Elixir of Immortality so I can reuse the fogs in the long run. In 1v1, you normally only need to keep 1 fog. (don't forget, Sudden Spoiling is effectivly a fog too).

Stronghold Discipline + Forbidden Orchard is another win option. (Batwing Brume helps here too)

Deck discussion for Dark Fog

But how does it win?

Because the opponent's get to use Howling Mine's / Rites of Flourishing's effects first, one option is just waiting them out with a slow mill. The other option here is to make them lose life every time they attack via Hissing Miasma and Batwing Brume. I'm also trying to figure out which fog to reduce / remove to include Stronghold Discipline so I can close off the game after giving enough creatures with Forbidden Orchard.

So, in short, a number of passive ways.

The forbidden orchard/discipline route sounds like a fun time.
You can throw in sphinx's tutelage if you want another wincon

Except that sphinx's tutelage is completely out of colour.

These Turbofog decks are the bane of my existence. Seems like some fun though! +1

It's spelt Isochron Scepter. While a good card, Elixir of Immortality and Wheel of Sun and Moon with all the draw should keep me well stocked with fogs.

Dawn Charm has a counter effect, which can be used on most burn. I may include Riot Control in the sideboard just for burn, as it works nicely with Forbidden Orchard, but at 3 mana, I'm not sure it'd be good main deck. Sadly, Safe Passage is worse than Riot Control in here as it costs 3 and does not interact with anything else.
