Deck Description

Just a deck idea that's been floating around in my head for a while now.

How to Play

The key idea is to get Door of Destinies out (calling either Human or Cleric), then Thrumming Stone. Once both artifacts are out, a single Shadowborn Apostle will trigger Thrumming Stone and Door of Destinies resulting in an army of really BIG creatures.

> Thrumming Stone: Ripple 4 on all your nonland cards coupled with a creature that breaks the 4 of mould is pretty broken. The only balancing factor is the artifact's casting cost.
> Door of Destinies: Once out, each creature you cast boosts the whole army. Thrumming Stone's Ripple effect let's you cast the extra creatures for free, and because you're casting them, Door of Destinies gets more charge counters.
> Immortal Servitude: Returns all your Apostles from the graveyard to the battlefield for 4 mana.
> Rune-Scarred Demon: Being a Demon, the Apostles can fetch it. When this Demon enters the battlefield, you can tutor for Immortal Servitude; Thrumming Stone; or Door of Destinies.

This takes me back to the days of standard when I tried to make a bunch of these guys work. I may need to retry these in a modern. The deck looks fun to play? I will have to try and put together a deck now, you mind if I use some of your ideas?

If I didn't want people to use my ideas I wouldn't make it public.

To be honest, I haven't tested this. It's all just theory at the moment. Actually thinking of replacing the Door with Obelisk of Urd. The sacrificing to fetch the Demon gives less to cast and get counters on the Door. Also, the Obelisk has a more immediate impact.

How about Coat of Arms? I know the five mana may hurt over Obelisk of Urd because you can tap your Shadowborn Apostle down to play it. But, a Coat of Arms turn five would be devastating to the opponent.

Coat of Arms runs the risk of boosting your opponents stuff.
