I have a GW Multicolor creatures matters deck in Modern, based around Wilt-Leaf Liege + Glass of the Guildpact.In looking to see what other 2 colour combos I could do similar with, I came across Legion's Initiative. Looking further into the Boros multicolored creatures, I noticed a good amount of the good ones where Pioneer legal, so I decided to design it in Pioneer.
All the creatures in this deck are both red and white, so both Legion's Initiative and Glass of the Guildpact will give all these creatures +1/+1. So, play creatures, and use the anthems to make them hit harder. The boosted power allows Venerable Warsinger to keep reanimating your creatures.Boosting Boros Reckoner's toughness with the anthems makes it survive larger hits in combat, making it a huge problem for the opponent on both attacks and blocking. Tajic and Boros Charm help defend the team, and keep them on the board. Sky Terror is a cheap, multicolor flier. Relentless Raptor just good for its cmcSwiftblade Vindicator gets better the more anthem effects you have out.Legion's Initiative has an effect other than being an anthem. At the cost of losing the anthem it provides, it can protect the team from a sweeper.
