Deck Description

Latest version of my Pauper Midnight Swarm Gond idea reworked for Modern.

(sideboard is just a bunch of random cards I considered, not an actual sideboard, so ignore it)

How to Play

While the deck contains the Midnight Guard + Presence of Gond combo, it doesn't rely on it. Sprout Swarm is the real winner here.

Nettle Sentinel and Midnight Guard both untap when Sprout Swarm is cast and resolved. Devoted Druid enchanted with Sigil of the Nayan Gods can also be used with Sprout Swarm.

Sprout Swarm's Buyback can be Convoked, so with enough creatures that untap themselves, you can truly Swarm the opponent. Remember, you can tap creatures with Summoning sickness to convoke, allowing you to tap the Saproling from the previous casting of Sprout Swarm to cast it again.

The combo with Sprout Swarm may require more cards to go "infinite", it's not necessary as the combo on its own supplies enough Saprolings over a number of turns that you should win.

For the Midnight Gond combo, the guard can be replaced by Devoted Druid enchanted with Sigil of the Nayan Gods (allowing it to untap because the enchantment boosts it's toughness).

Lastly, enchanting Birds of Paradise with Sigil of the Nayan Gods while you have an army of tokens turns the bird into a very big threat.
