RAMPAG3a tried making a mono white, legendary Samurai themed deck. This is what I'd try if I where to make the same.Would swap out 4 Plains for 4 Cavern of Souls, but at $50+ a card, Cavern of Souls is not being added to this list.
Devoted Retainer and Konda's Hatamoto are early game, cheap, non-legends. Kentaro, the Smiling Cat and Sensei Golden-Tail are early game, cheap, legends. Nagao, Bound by Honor is an interesting 'lord' for Samurai. Takeno, Samurai General is an expensive 'lord'. Thinking of dropping this and Konda, Lord of Eiganjo for 3 Honor of the Pure, but that also lowers my legend count... Call to Glory untaps all your Samurai, allowing them to surprise block. Remember, Bushido works for both attacking and blocking. Ethereal Haze allows you to attack all out without fear of retaliation. Path to Exile is arguably the best removal in Modern. Konda's Banner turns any legendary Samurai into a 'lord'.Day of Destiny makes the legends more awesome. Eiganjo Castle helps protect the legends from damage.
