This started out as an evolution of a metalcraft deck in an attempt to make it legal in legacy.
Build up your mana with Myr creatures. Then sacrifice your Myrs to Arcum Dagsson in order to fortify your defenses by searching for Darksteel Forge. If by this point you haven't gotten a poison counter on your opponent, search for a Decimator Web as well. Then, proliferate with Contagion Clasp/Engine.Additionally, you can build up your mana with Contagion Clasp/Engine and Everflowing Chalice.

I did, but I think I kept them for thematic purposes mostly. I didn't want to draw away from the artifact focus of the deck and instead opted to reply on Contagion Clasp/Engine. I'll add those two to the sideboard, though.
